A TWILIGHT TURQUOISE 65 Story and photos by Tom W.

Hello everyone!  I am from Hanover Pennsylvania, and I joined the club in August of this year.  First I would like to thank Terry Reinhart of the M6A for allowing me to join such a fine club.  I purchased my car back in 2008.  As you can see in the pictures it was red when I first got it.  But because I am an original kind of guy, I had to take it back to it’s original color of “Twilight Turquoise”.  It has a 200 engine with a 3 speed manual transmission.

I started my restoration in 2010 and completed it in 2012 saving the engine compartment for last.  I do a lot of local car shows in the Pennsylvania/Maryland area but the Carlisle “All Fords Show” is by far my favorite show.  I would also like to personally thank Wade Sovonick for all his help and guidance he gave me during my restoration.  Thank you again and I am sure I will learn a lot from everyone and I hope to meet some of you at future shows!!

Here are some photos of my ’65.  Some were taken at Carlisle (all Fords) this past June.  The others I just took a at other places.  I am not sure if it was you who came up to me at Carlisle this year and gave me a very nice compliment on my car.  But someone from your club gave me their M6A card and asked me if I was interested in joining.  Unfortunately I lost that card and don’t remember their name.  Anyway, thank you again and I hope to meet you and all the gang soon!!

(EDITORS NOTE: It wasn’t me that Tom met at Carlisle, but  I also want to thank whoever it was for spreading the word about M6A!)
